A Walking Tour of Prague

March 22:
We got up the next morning and eventually got down to the common room. Here we talked with the other guests about what we wanted to do that day. A bunch of people seemed interested in a walking tour so we decided that was the thing to do. After getting a breakfast of bagels at a recommended shop we headed to the meeting point for the tour. The tour ended up containing nine of us all from the hostel. It was a pretty interesting and we were able to get some of the history and culture of the city.

When we were done we headed with the guys of the group to a monastery that made it’s own beer and had it’s own restaurant. After a hardy dinner we headed back to the hostel where we relaxed and warmed up before getting ready to go out that night. I realized around this time that my jeans had started to rip along the upper inseam. I had not brought a sewing kit with me because I had thought I would never sew but I could not due without jeans and thus repaired mine with a sewing kit borrowed from a girl who had just checked into our room named Christine. The hostel group went to this pretty interesting bar with lots of little rooms to it but after a while it could no longer hold our interest so we headed home for the night.
