Last Full Day on Crete

April 20:

I was up before Pat again today and again spent some time putting photos up on my old blog posts before getting bored and moving on to other things. Once Pat got up we went out for food. Neither of us felt like traditional Greek food so we ended up going to a pizza place and hanging out outside while eating and drinking for a couple hours cause it was actually an okay day out. Upon getting back we decided that it was past time that we figured out what we were going to do as our next step on our travels. I checked the ferries out of Heraklion for the next day and the only one heading to an island we had on our short list was to Santorini. The ferry was to leave Heraklion at 5:30pm the following afternoon and dock in Santorini at 11:30pm that evening. I searched and after a few websites found one that would take our late booking and Pat looked into accommodations and was able to find us an inexpensive hotel. Later that evening we went to get some kebabs before bed.
