A Walking Tour of Munich

April 2:

We got up late having gone to bed so late the previous night and once we had risen and gotten ready it was noon and we headed over to the train station to grab some food before our walking tour left from there at noon-thirty. The walking tour was fairly interesting as Munich is a beautiful city.

They had artists sketch all the buildings in great detail before the war so that after they could rebuild them in their past likeness. The tour was made a bit more interesting then it would otherwise be because there were a lot of rowdy Juventus fans in town from Italy getting drunk in the streets and singing club songs.

After the four hours of touring, we went to a restaurant that the guide recommended for some much-needed food with others from the tour. We sat and ate there till 6:30pm and by the time we got home we were pooched. We headed almost immediately to sleep with the thought that if we were up and feeling alright around 9pm we would consider going out for drinks. I woke up at nine without any alarm but Pat was asleep and I soon decided the best course of action would be to get back to sleep and try to sort out my problematic sleep schedule.
